Since we recently moved into a new home, our primary house needs are larger ticket items such as furniture. Therefore, we decided to focus our wedding registry on our desire to cross a "big stone" off of our travel list - trekking in the Himalayas, culminating in a stay at Mt. Everest Base Camp, followed by a few days of relaxation in the Maldives, a quickly-disappearing, remote group of islands in the Indian Ocean.
